I am a graphic designer working in New York City. My roots extend barely over the Mason-Dixon Line in Virginia where I spent my formative years playing in swamps and listening to music. The most diverse borough in the world, Queens, is now my home where I reside with my lovely and energetic family. I ♥ NY.

Currently, I am the Associate Art Director for the Visual Arts Press at the School of Visual Arts, where I also teach. I design printed publications, environmental graphics, websites and other promotional ephemera for SVA. My education includes a BFA in Communication Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University, an MFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts and I'm currently pursuing a certificate in Buddhist Studies at the Interdependence Project in NYC. I've won numerous awards and pride myself on never taking the easy path to a design solution. Collaboration produces unexpected results and I strive to remain open and receptive to that process. Focus, enthusiasm, patience and diligence are all traits I work hard to bring to my work and personal life.
